Tests will be given at the end of each unit. A study guide will be given to help you prepare for each test.
Group Workpoints will be given based on the grading section on the Cooperative Learning Groups Page.
Homework points will be based on completion of work. If you show that you have attempted to work ALL of the homework problems, you will receive full credit for homework. Homework is discussed in more detail on the Classroom Procedures Page.
Participation points will be given each Thursday for the previous week. Each week, you will start out with 10 participation points. You will lose 1 participation point for each demerit that you receive in class. In addition, you may earn an additional 10 participation points by actively participating in class, working problems problems on the board, answering questions, staying on task, and being ready to learn when class starts. The maximum number of participation points that can be earned each week is 20.
